Thanks to Android emulators, we can run Android applications and games on our computers. If you hear about a certain app and you want to try it out, you will be able to download it and run it much faster with this piece of software.

The software is compatible with all modern Windows versions. Its setup package is relatively small and it doesn't take long to install its components. You don't have to meet any special requirements to run this application, but you will need an Android emulator, because AppKiwi won't run the downloaded apps itself.

AppKiwi presents its user interface in the lower right part of the screen. The application works in the background and you can bring up its user interface at any time, through a system tray icon. Apps are displayed just like on Google Play and you can filter them, if you wish to see the top free apps, the top grossing, the newest or trending apps. Furthermore, you can switch between two tabs, for apps and games, on which you will find the same filters. Of course, you can also use a search function, to find apps or games instantly.

If you want to download an app, all you have to do is click its icon and then hit a large "Download" button. Downloaded apps can be viewed in a library, on the same interface. Clicking an app in the library will reveal a short description, along with a "Launch" button. AppKiwi uses whatever Android emulator you have on your computer, but you have to tell it what to use when you launch an app for the first time.
